An e-complaint system, known as Sistem Pengurusan Aduan Merokok or SPARK was developed to manage the reports on smoking activities within the campus and act as an effort to achieve a smoke-free campus. SPARK eases the campus citizen to file reports on smoking activities inside the campus. The system will capture, keep and manage the information stored in the system. The users just need to fill up simple information and attach photos or videos as evidence. The system accepts complaints in the format of text, image, and video. Once the complaint is filed in the SPARK, the system will send an alert to the respective staff-in-charge in real time through social media platforms for immediate action. The system will also request for the report on the action taken and allows the management to follow-ups on the status of the case filed. This system assists the management of UiTM Sarawak in weaning off students, staff and workers smokers.
